Traditionally, Hippodrome de Longchamp is France’s home of horseracing, every October playing host to the prestigious Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and its entourage of royalty and well-dressed revellers. But since 2017, the racecourse has taken on new life as the location for Lollapalooza! So, get set to swap thoroughbreds for (thoroughly good) musicians; and cocktail dresses for those of a summer variety, this July.

So what’s in store for 2018? Well, following on from last year’s inaugural Lollapalooza in Paris that saw the likes of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Lana Del Rey and Liam Gallagher mesmerise the masses, July will be hoping to bring an equally as good (if not, better) lineup to Longchamp! And with the likes of Depeche Mode, Gorillaz, The Killers, Travis Scott, Kasabian, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Catfish and the Bottlemen, but a few of the artists who will be performing in the Paris sunshine, we think they’ll be doing just that.

Beyond the Music: Culture & Gastronomy

Should there somehow not be any music at Lollapalooza to your liking, fret not. You are in Paris after all! Thus, the festival will also unveil an eclectic array of art exhibitions and countless cultural amusements. Although, perhaps the biggest allure of Lollapalooza Paris (beyond the music) is Lolla Chef, a celebration of gastronomy inspired by Jean Imbert, where burger vans will give way to a hearty selection of gourmet festival fare, within a dedicated culinary village.

Families too are also welcome, or rather encouraged, to immerse yourself in the magic of Lollapalooza, with the housing of a festival within the festival at Kidzapalooza! Here, kids and parents alike can delight in a family-friendly programme, filled with no end of music and interactive activities, within the dedicated Kidzapalooza zone. What’s more, children ages ten and under may enter Lollapalooza Paris free of charge when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
